JPE & I walked the length of the Portobello Market (5-6 blocks) in NottingHill today!!
No sign of Hugh Grant or Julia Roberts coming out of the
TRAVEL BOOKSTORE...

Looks fascinating...how are you finding the prices? I probably would have made a bee-line for the silver.
ReplyDeleteit's expensive - I don't know where the women shop here but everyone wears gauzy skirts, camisoles, over-blouses, adorable flats or incredibly high, spiky heels... the window shopping in the area we are looking is interesting... I suppose they might have a store that is similar to Target, Ross, Marshall's for clothing themselves & their families...
ReplyDeleteLots of scarves - wrapped loosely around their necks - it makes me sweat to even see something close to the neck (humidity is something that causes me anxiety - kidding! but I definitely get grouchy the warmer I get).
Lovely antiques - I loved the odd assortment of vendors and their "wares" - I got scolded at a stand for trying to take a pic of baked pastries - no pics if you don't buy... we didn't buy...
