This OWL couple is not sitting in an oak... but they are adorable & are skilled at balancing on their curved perch.

I hear an owl hooting... and, frogs are croaking in response. I guess the frogs are getting ready for mating season - there's sure a lot of croaking going on tonight!
Hopefully, the sounds of nature will put me to sleep... JPE's away on business.
These are very cute! I like all kinds of little birds in the garden. I thought of you this week...thought I broke my little toe, but I only bruised it badly...thought I might be joining you on crutches. Hope you are feeling better.
