TRANSITION-ING

"One thing at a time, all things in succession.
That which grows slowly endures."
~ J.G. Hubbard, author

The WEEKWORD was T-R-A-N-S-I-T-I-O-N... the host, JOHN, doesn't know me, but I feel as if he picked this week's word JUST.for.ME!

I've TRANSITIONED from a soft cast to an air cast this week. Little did I know that my foot (& mind) would need so much T-L-C (tender loving care) on this journey of healing.

My week has run the gamut from:
  • anger
  • frustration
  • overwhelming fatigue
  • tears
  • depression

JPE (wisely suggested) that I spend some time using my camera (I've gotten behind on taking photos for the online course I'm taking, "Find Your Eye") & crafting (so, I pulled out the "goodies" I purchased two weeks ago during a visit to So California)...

  3. Really enjoyed the post and the photographs, who ever would have thought an injured foot would be artistic?

I guess with transition you know that whilst you might wish to scream at times you know it will pass.

Hang in there and take care of yourself. Enjoy the crafty time, it is quite therapeutic :)

  7. Oh! Poor you! But think of all the time you'll have to blog and craft and...if you want, I can bring you a loom to work and show you how to knit on it.

  9. Oh Christine being in a cast and weighed down is terrible for a cute little hummingbird like you, I'm sorry! I love love love your picture this week and the joy of fun new crafty knick knacks overflowing the desk, now I'm all inspired to go make cards in my own little artsy fartsy space.
