Joye at JOYEFULART is hosting WEEKWORD.
This week's word is NEW to me! but looking at the list of bloggers leaving Joye a message they are participating means, I have some "serious thinking" to do....

WEEKWORD = S-Y-N-E-S-T-H-E-S-I-A
After doing some reading about SYNESTHESIA ~ I've decided I DON'T experience this condition...
Ever the educator, I did some digging around HERE and discovered a wealth of information.Unbeknownst to me, A MANGO-SHAPED SPACE is a book I planned to get at the library and is written about a young girl who experiences SYNESTHESIA.
Also, check out A SIXTH SENSE on CBS NEWS which interviews people who associate words with flavors or flavors that have color.
JPE'S BISCOTTI |
Perhaps I do experience SYNESTHESIA? I DO taste chocolate when I see the color brown (ummm, most of the time)...
JPE completed his holiday baking ~ Double Chocolate Walnut biscotti... and my personal favorite, White Chocolate & Cranberry biscotti. Yumm!
I can taste the biscotti. OMG the picture tastes so good. :-) Seriously I'm a huge fan of biscotti. Although looking up the word I obviously don't understand what it means. Too deep for me this week when I'm knee deep into Carlyle's Sartor Resartus.
ReplyDeleteOh! The biscotti sounds good. I have never made it but I have always wanted to. What an interesting and strange word this week, I will have to check it out.(-: I am looking forward to your Santa collection post.
ReplyDeleteOh, this was a difficult word. You made it! And I guess I will await next weekword...
ReplyDeleteToday I am offering an exchange of songs! :)
Yes, it is an unusual word and I am excited to see what everyone comes up with!! Hmmm, bicotti, smells good just to hear the word!!
