"Never worry about the size of your Christmas tree.
In the eyes of children, they are all 30 feet tall."
~ Larry Wilde, humorist - Director, Carmel Institute of Humor
(my addition to this quote)
"or the shape of your Christmas tree!"
SLE & ACE will tell you about the many
we decorated!
WELL, they weren't this sparse...
but, they were definitely lopsided, so we would put the scruffy side towards the wall.
With a few decorations
(homemade, purchased @ Pic 'n Save, & twinkling lights)
our Charlie Brown Christmas tree
looked magnificent, majestic, & melted our hearts!

Do you have an artificial tree?
Do you cut your tree from the woods?
Do you have an aluminum tree?
Do you buy your tree from a public lot?
Do you decorate something other than a tree?

Love your holiday header...very cute.
ReplyDeleteI have all artificial trees, I like that I can put them up early and then move on to more important holiday issues. But I really miss the scent of real trees.
What a wonderful Santa Ornament.
ReplyDeleteMy husband just recently said that one of the best things I ever did was insist on an prelit artificial tree...no mess and no tangled lights!
ReplyDeleteWhen we were newly married, we bought a real tree. I remember our kitty climbing up the tree, and when we came home his facing was poking out of it! lol!
I used to love Pic 'n Save at Christmas! I'd give the kids $5 each and they could buy gifts for everyone they knew. OK, I admit it was quite a few years ago, but still.... :-)
ReplyDeleteWe always had a real tree. Nowadays, I just use a little tree (about 2 feet tall) that we made from pine cones when the kids were small. It has lights wired into it and tiny decorations. I love it!
