MEMORIAL DAY = STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL |
tasty, delightful, juicy, brilliantly red, sweet orbs of goodness!
a strawberry kabob drizzled with milk chocolate & white chocolate! ummm MAKE it MINE!
the Strawberry Festival also provides a chance for visitors
to see some of the "historical artifacts" from our community.
A QUIRKY apple peeler!
Lola came for a visit.
I love her WHAT WERE YOU THINKING pose, when I disturbed her morning nap!
the red-wing blackbirds "call" to us each morning.
Lola & I took a walk... for "her" MORNING RITUAL... to explore & experience the new smells.
Cute suitcase... a Mother's Day gift from Brian!
WHAT'S IN the suitcase?
It's a 1000 piece puzzle of San Francisco!
awesome-ness!
Thanks Brian, Allie & Lola for sharing the Memorial Day Weekend with us!
posting these pictures at RAMBLING & PHOTOS... checking in with Ashley after an unintentional break from blogging!
see you tomorrow!
more photos to post!
Those berries look AMAZING! Wow!
ReplyDeleteYou get the prize for best food pic with that strawberry kabob!
ReplyDeleteThe strawberries look so good! The photo of Lola...well what can I say, far too cute! She is adorable.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a grand Memorial Day weekend. Lola does looked a bit miffed there about being disturbed from her nap.
ReplyDeleteThat Strawberry Kabob looks so rich and delicious. Peeling apples that way would be quirky. A nice walk is a great way to start the morning.
Cool Puzzle Case
Those strawberries do look delicious. The suitcase is a wonderful way to store the pieces.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that all of you photos are great, but I just can't get past that strawberry kabob. That would have been my first and last stop at the festival. Strawberries are wonderful, but chocolate makes EVERYTHING better. Have a blessed week.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Those strawberries look amazing! Great photo for "What were you thinking?" too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots! My favorites are the morning ritual and What were they thinking?. That strawberry kabob looks YUMMY!
